Chapter Notices

The library in the members' portion of this site continues to grow. All white papers are now available for browsing online, as are the logs of online chapter meetings. The members' portion of this site includes an experiment in online collaborative document assembly, whereby members help "build" certain basic templates or documents of general interest to legal administrators. Additional projects (documents) will be added whenever individual members submit prototype or draft templates.

The Chapter offers a discussion forum for members only, and encourages all chapter members to visit and participate in the discussions there.

Cyber Chapter members who are unable to access the members' (private) portion of this site should contact the webmaster for assistance.

In 1998, the Cyber Chapter introduced an annual dues requirement. Membership lapses on February 1 of each year unless annual dues ($65 for calendar year 2008 if paid after January 31, $50 if paid before February 1) have been paid. Contact the membership chair, Thereza Morris for details or assistance.

Cyber Chapter members continue to make themselves available as speakers for other groups, especially non-profit groups such as ALA chapters and law-related professionals. Contact any of the chapter officers for speaker leads.

As part of its mission, the Cyber Chapter is prepared to assist other ALA chapters by promoting special events and providing interim or special online publication of chapter news. ALA chapters which would like to be profiled or which would like to take advantage of this web site should contact the webmaster for details.
